اكدت مصادر ان المستشار بالديوان الملكي في السعودية٬ المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبداالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة في المقر الدائم للمركز شمال مدينة الرياضدشن دشن اليوم٬ قافلة برية تحوي مساعدات إلى اليمن.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية٬ أن القافلة البرية تحوي مجموعة أدوية ومستلزمات طبية وتمور٬ تقدر حمولتها بـ 110 أطنان للأشقاء في عدن وحضرموت بالجمهورية اليمنية٬ وذلك إنفاذاً لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود.
وأوضح الدكتور الربيعة في تصريح صحفي بهذه المناسبة أن المركز يدشن هذه القافلة التي سبقتها عدة قوافل تنفيذاً لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفي٬ مبيناً أن القافلة تتضمن 110 اطنان من الأدوية والتمور تحملها 9 شاحنات٬ 5 منها تقدر حمولتها بأكثر من 33 طناً تحتوي على أدوية السرطان ومجموعة متنوعة من الأدوية والمستلزمات الطبية سيتم - بإذن االله - شحنها إلى مخازن الإمداد الدوائي بعدن٬ فيما 4 شاحنات تحمل 73 طناً من التمور ستتجه بإذن االله إلى محافظة حضرموت .
وأكد حرص المركز ومتابعته الدائمة على إيصال هذه القوافل للمستفيدين منها وتوزيعها عبر منظمات الأمم المتحدة والشركاء المحليين داخل اليمن٬ وذلك بالتنسيق مع اللجنة العليا للإغاثة في اليمن٬ مبيناً أن المركز يقدم خدماته الإغاثية والإنسانية لجميع أرجاء اليمن على اختلاف أطيافه وفئاته بغض النظر عن الانتماءات.
وبين أن المركز يبني معلومات تقديم المساعدات المتنوعة وفقا لمناطق الاحتياج بناء على المعلومات التي ترد من الحكومة اليمنية
ا إلى أن إنشاء فرع للمركز في اليمن يأتي لتوحيد الجهود وتكميلا لهذا الجانبٕواش ارفا على واللجنة الاغاثية العليا اليمنية٬ مشيرً آليات التوزيع بالداخل اليمني.
من جانبه عبر مستشار الأمين العام للشؤون الإنسانية في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي فؤاد المزنغي عن سعادته بالمشاركة وقال :"من بلد الخير إلى عدن وأرجاء اليمن تسير هذه القافلة"٬ مقدماً شكره لخادم الحرمين الشريفين - أيده االله - ولحكومته على ما تقدمه من خير للمنكوبين في العالم واليمن خصوصا٬ كما شكر في الوقت ذاته جهود مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية برئاسة معالي الدكتور عبداالله الربيعة .
ووصف وزير الإدارة المحلية رئيس اللجنة العليا للإغاثة في اليمن عبدالرقيب فتح مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة أنه الذ ارع الإغاثية لليمن٬ مبيناً أنه سيتم توزيع هذه القافلة بناء على الاحتياج بالداخل اليمني٬ وأن هنالك 7000 يمني مصاب بأم ارض الكلى وهذه المساعدات ستسهم في رفع المعاناة عنهم .
ا للمركز في اليمن٬ وأن التنوع في تقديم المساعدات الإغاثية من  متنوعً  إغاثي ومشروعً وقال:" إن هذه الحملة ضمن 66 برنامجً  بالدور الريادي للمركز في هذا الخصوص .

He stressed the keenness of the center and permanent follow-up on the delivery of these convoys to their beneficiaries and distributed through the United Nations organizations and local partners within Alemen, in coordination with the Higher Committee for Relief in Alemen, noting that the center serves relief and humanitarian to all parts of Yemen on the different sects and groups regardless of their affiliations.
And that builds a center to provide assistance to the diverse information according to areas of need based on the information received from the Yemeni government
