وجه مبعوث الأمم المتحدة لليمن ولد الشيخ احمد دعوة "ضمنية" لأبناء الشعب اليمني في الداخل، حثهم فيها على الثورة ضد المليشيات الانقلابية التي اغتصبت السلطة ومؤسسات الدولة بقوة السلاح وأثارت الحرب الداخلية في عموم اليمن .

وقال ولد الشيخ في مؤتمر صحفي مخاطبا الشعب اليمني :" أولا للشعب اليمني الصامد: أنتم المتضرر الأكبر من كل ما يجري وتدفعون ثمن حرب أنتم أكثر من يعارضها".

وأضاف :" شبانكم وشاباتكم  قدوة للعالم بالصمود والقوة فهل يجوز أن تبقى قراراتهم رهينة صراعات سياسية لا تعكس تطلعاتهم؟ ".

واختتم نداءه للشعب اليمني قائلا :" ان اليمنيين لعبوا على مدار الزمن دورا بارزا ومؤثرا على أكثر من صعيد فلا تدعوا أحدا يخطف صوتكم المطالب بالعيش بسلام واحترام حقوق الإنسان ".


The face of the United Nations envoy to Yemen Ould Cheikh Ahmed call "implicit" to sons of the Yemeni people at home, urging them to revolt against the coup militias that usurped power and the institutions of the state by force of arms and internal war sparked across Yemen.

Ould Cheikh said at a news conference, addressing the people of Yemen: "First the Yemeni people steadfast: You are the greatest affected by everything that is happening and you are paying the price of war, more than oppose it."

He added: "Haabankm Chabatkm and set an example for the world of steadfastness and strength is it permissible to decisions remain hostage to political conflicts do not reflect their aspirations?".

He concluded his appeal of the Yemeni people, saying: "The Yemenis have played over the time a prominent and influential role on more than one level do not let anyone snatch your voice demands to live in peace and respect for human rights."
