وصلت إلى محافظة حضرموت عدد من الآليات والمدرعات العسكرية من دولة الإمارات المتحدة التي تشارك في التحالف العربي ضد الانقلابيين الحوثيين في اليمن.

وقالت وسائل إعلام إماراتية، إن الدفعة الثالثة من الآليات العسكرية التي تسلمتها السطات في حضرموت تأتي في إطار الجهود التي تبذلها الإمارات لتنشيط وتفعيل دور الشرطة في مدينة المكلا وساحل حضرموت.

وأضافت: القوة العسكرية تأتي لمساعدة ودعم الأجهزة الأمنية في حضرموت، حتى تتمكن من القيام بواجباتها الأمنية في المحافظة وحماية المواطنين، وفي إطار الجهود التي تبذلها الإمارات لتنشيط وتفعيل دور الشرطة في مدينة المكلا وساحل حضرموت عقب التحرير من تنظيم «القاعدة» أخيراً.
