اكد مصدر ميداني في المقاومة الشعبية  إن قوات المقاومة والجيش سيطرت على جبلي بني فرج والمجاوحة المطلان على مركز مديرية نهم، بعد معارك عنيفة ضد المسلحين الحوثيين والقوات الموالية للمخلوع صالح .

وحسب المصدر فإن انتفاضة للأهالي والقبائل في صنعاء  ضد مليشيات الحوثي اندلعت في تلك القرى، وانضموا إلى المقاومة، في الوقت الذي لا تزال فيه المعارك مستمرة على أشدّها بين الطرفين الأمر الذي شكل صدمة قوية للمخلوع صالح وانصاره.

وبموازاة ذلك، شنَّت مقاتلات التحالف العربي عدة غارات على مواقع وتعزيزات للحوثيين.
وقصفت الطائرات المقاتلة عربة عسكرية، للحوثيين في مفرق القانزي بمنطقة الأعروش مديرية خولان، جنوب شرق. وبحسب شهود عيان فإن من كانوا على العربة سقطوا قتلى وجرحى.
