صرحت مصادر محلية  بالعاصمة صنعاء  أن قياديا حوثيا، رفيعا قتل، مساء الأحد، برصاص مسلحين مجهولين، قرب شارع الخمسين بصنعاء.
وأوضحت المصادر، أن القيادي الحوثي، أبو حسين يحيى محمد الحوثي، مسؤول استخبارات المليشيا وضابط الارتباط بينها وبين إيران، وحزب الله اللبناني، قتل بعد صلاة العشاء، أمس الأحد، قرب شارع الخمسين، برصاص قناص، أثناؤ توقفه لشرب الشيشة.
وبحسب المصادر، فقد أصيب لحظة اغتياله أحد حراسته، مشيرة إلى أن جثته حاليا تتواجد بأحد مستشفيات العاصمة صنعاء.
وبحسب المصادر، فإن القيادي القتيل، كان ضابط التوازن مع المخلوع صالح، كما أنه كان يجيد أربع لغات، وكان من الكوادر التي تلقت تدريبات مكثفة في لبنان وإيران.
