صرح رئيس وفد مليشيات الحوثي التفاوضي في الكويت والناطق الرسمي للمليشيا محمد عبدالسلام،عن تحول الشراكة الوطنية الى عقبة أمام مشاورات السلام اليمنية بالكويت،وقال أن "الاتفاق السياسي الجامع بين اليمنيين أحزابا ومكونات هو اتفاق السلم والشراكة وهو العقد الجامع والوحيد حتى هذه اللحظة"، وحسب موقع قناة "روسيا اليوم"، فقد جاءت تغريدت عبدالسلام كرد على تسريبات ولد الشيخ بوجود خريطة طريق للحل في اليمن لم تشر إلى اتفاقية السلم والشراكة.
